Tracy Root's new exhibition Prism of Perception presents works accomplished during the isolation of the recent pandemic lockdowns. It's not surprising then that her paintings are often very personal, delving into feelings of longing, loss and acceptance while pursuing a deep spiritual connection with the natural world.

Creating a visual language all her own, Root's highly developed painting style perceives the world as a kaleidoscope of geometric patterns, compositional movement and color. Interior and exterior worlds collide in these inviting canvases filled with memory and imagination.

An established member of the London Art Scene for many years, these paintings represent  the first group of work completed as a new member of the Chatham-Kent community.

ARTspace is open Wednesday through Saturday from 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. For more information please visit the website at
